Delaware Clean Vehicle Rebate Program

The Clean Vehicle Rebate Program provides incentives to residents of Delaware as well as businesses in the state to buy or lease new vehicles powered by alternative fuels. Incentives are available for battery electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles, dedicated propane/natural gas vehicles and bi-fuel propane/natural gas vehicles. To qualify, the total vehicle purchase price cannot exceed $50,000. Total vehicle purchase price includes features, destination, and documentation fees but does not include taxes, tags, trade-ins, or incentives.

The program offers tiered incentives, with larger rebates for vehicles with a total purchase price under $40,000.

Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate (CHEAPR)

Note: Effective March 29, 2023, the CHEAPR program is a point-of-sale (POS) rebate. Customers can receive their CHEAPR rebate at the dealer.

The Connecticut Hydrogen and Electric Automobile Purchase Rebate (CHEAPR) offers incentives for Connecticut residents who purchase or lease fuel cell electric, plug-in hybrid electric, or battery electric vehicles. Electric Vehicle Income Tax Credit

The State of Colorado offers an income tax credit for the purchase or lease of an electric motor vehicle, a plug-in hybrid motor vehicle, or an original equipment manufacturer electric/plug-in hybrid electric truck. H.B. 1272 of 2023 extended the light-duty credit through the end of 2028, extended the truck credit through the end of 2032, changed the credit values throughout the years, and created a new electric bicycle credit available from 2024 through 2032.

Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fee Reduction Program

Note: In accordance with Arizona Revised Statute 28-5805, alternative fuel vehicles are assessed VLT using the same formula used for traditional vehicles. Those vehicles that were intitally registered prior to 2023 will keep their current VLT formula until the vehicle ownership changes or the registration is canceled.

Vehicles that were registered prior to 2023 must use the following fuel types.

  • Natural Gas
