Indiana Michigan Power offers incentives to residential, small commercial and commercial/industrial/multifamily customers to install electric vehicle charging stations. Basic descriptions of these incentives can be found below.
Residential
$500 for joining the program. I&M’s incentive helps offset the cost to set up or retrofit your current charger configuration to measure off peak PEV charging. PEV charging from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am daily will be discounted 50% from our standard residential per kWh rate.
Small Commercial
Existing small-commercial customers who average less than 4,500 kWh per month are eligible for a $500 incentive and a discounted off-peak rate up to
Residential Customers of DTE Energy (Electric) are eligible for a rebate for the installation of a qualified Level 2 charger. Applicants must have purchased or leased a new or used plug-in electric vehicle in a period no less than 24 months. Have purchased and installed a new Level 2 EVSE after January 1st, 2025. Applicant must apply within 6 months of installation of EVSE.
To meet the rebate income eligibility requirement the household income must be under 200% of the most recent HHS poverty guidelines.

The Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company offers an incentive program for level 2 all-electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle chargers, via the NextZero program. This incentive is offered through multiple utilities.
Customers from the following municipal utilities are eligible for a $200-$300 incentive for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles: Hull, Marblehead, Princeton, Sterling, Wakefield, and West Boylston customers

By enrolling their home electric vehicle (EV) chargers in Eversource's ConnectedSolutions demand response program, residential customers are eligible to receive a rebate of up to $300. Potomac Edison offers rebates for Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers through its EV driven program. By enrolling in the EV-Only Time of Use (TOU) rate offer you can save 2¢ per kWh hour off the Electric Supply Charge for charging during off-peak hours. Off-peak hours are 11pm-6am Monday-Friday, holidays and weekends. Multifamily customers can get a rebate for 50% of the cost of a Level 2 or DC Fast Charging station, up to $20,000.
