Mansfield Municipal Electric Department - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Mansfield Municipal Electric Department encourages energy efficiency through the ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate Incentive Program. Cash rebates are offered for ENERGY STAR central air conditioners, refrigerators, clothes washing machines, dishwashers, dehumidifiers, dryers, and window air conditioners. Mansfield offers a weatherization rebate program to assist residential customers offset the cost of energy efficiency measures, covering 50% of costs up to $1,000. All eligible measures through this program must come from a recommendation made in the ENE Home Energy Assessment audit. Mansfield also offers rebates for residential electric vehicle charging stations.

Lodi Electric Utility - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Lodi Electric Utility (LEU) offers several residential energy efficiency programs, including the Appliance Rebate Program and the Home Improvement Rebate Program. Rebate are also available for electric vehicles and their charging equipment. 

Customers will be required to submit a signed application with a copy of a paid receipt. Rebates less than $300 will be applied as a credit on customer's City of Lodi utility account. All rebate requests must be received within 6 months of purchase/installation. All rebates are subject to availability of funds.

Chicopee Electric Light Department - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Chicopee Electric Light Department (CELD) offers a variety of energy efficiency rebates for its residential customers. CELD provides rebates for heat pump water heaters, refrigerators, clothes washers, dehumidifiers, air purifiers, and heat pumps, as well as rechargeable yard equipment rebates. In South Carolina, taxpayers may claim a credit of 25% of the costs of purchasing and installing a solar energy system, small hydropower system, or a geothermal system for heating water, space heating, air cooling, energy-efficient daylighting, heat reclamation, energy-efficient demand response, or the generation of electricity in a building owned by the taxpayer. Effective July 1, 2009, SB 1141 expanded the scope of this credit to include small hydropower systems. Only hydropower systems installed after July 1, 2009 are eligible for the tax credit. HB 3874 of 2016 expanded the scope again to include geothermal energy projects.

Black Hills Energy - Solar Power Program

Black Hills Energy has a performance-based incentive (PBI) for photovoltaic (PV) systems up to 500 kilowatts (kW) in capacity. In exchange for a PBI, Black Hills Energy earns the renewable energy credits (RECs) associated with the PV-generated electricity for a period of time.

Energy-Efficient Building Standards for State Facilities

In November of 2019, Governor Mills signed Executive Order 13, which requires state agencies to develop and implement a sustainability plan to meet or exceed the states renewable energy and greenhouse gas reduction timelines and targets. It further requires the procurement of environmentally preferable products and services, encourage practices that lead to less wasteful workplaces and account for climate change projections when designing or siting new facilities or projects. Renewables and Efficiency in State Facilities & Operations

In May 2006, Hawaii’s governor signed HB 2175 addressing renewable energy, energy efficiency, and alternative fuels in state facilities and operations. This legislation also detailed requirements for renewable energy and energy efficiency in Hawaii’s public schools.

Cedar Falls Utilities - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

The Cedar Falls Utilities (CFU) Energy Efficiency Rebate Program provides rebates for energy efficient heating and cooling equipment, thermal envelope improvements and appliance recycling. The amount of the rebate varies by technology. All technology must meet specified energy efficiency requirements listed on the program website. Some technology rebates require pre-approval.
