In October 2009, the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) approved net metering regulations. These rules were finalized and approved by the lieutenant governor in January 2010 and became effective January 15, 2010. In May 2011, the RCA approved interconnection guidelines. All utilities subject to Alaska's net metering regulations were required to issue revised tariffs that address interconnection.

This program is available only to Minnesota residents who take both electric and natural gas service from Xcel Energy. The rebate amount will then depend on the measures chosen.

Wellesley Municipal Light Plant (WMLP) offers a number of appliance rebates to residential customers who purchase and install energy efficient equipment. Only Energy Star qualified equipment is eligible for this program. Residential customers must be in good standing with WMLP, purchase qualified equipment, submit necessary paperwork, and follow all installation requirements in order to be eligible. Customers must provide a copy of the EnergyGuide label from the appliance with the Energy Star logo or a printout from the Energy Star website showing that the appliance is Energy Star rated. Limit is two items per account per calendar year.
Dominion Energy provides energy efficiency incentives to home owners in its service territory through its EnergyWise program.
Applicants must be the registered owner of a separately metered, detached, or attached single-family residence where the product/equipment is installed. A licensed contractor must install the equipment and a rebate form and invoice must be submitted within 90 days of installation. View the program web site for additional details.
