New Jersey Natural Gas - SAVEGREEN Residential On-Bill Financing Program

Through the SAVEGREEN Project, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) provides an On-Bill Repayment Program (OBRP) for up to $14,000 at 0% APR with no fees, points, or closing cost for energy efficiency upgrades. 

Only current NJNG customers with 12 months of on time account payments are eligible to participate in the program. New NJNG customers must provide a letter of credit from previous regulated utility showing 12 months of on-time payments. NJNG reserves the right to limit participation in the OBRP to customers who have natural gas heating.

Loveland Water & Power - Refrigerator Recycling Program

Loveland Water & Power is providing an incentive for customers to recycle older, working refrigerators. Interested customers can call the utility to arrange a time to pick up the old refrigerator. The old refrigerator should be brought outside but remain plugged in so the utility can make sure it is in working condition. The utility will then take the refrigerator to a recycling facility and issue a $35 bill credit.

Mass Save (Gas) - Residential Rebate Program

Gas Networks organizes residential conservation services for programs administered by Massachusetts gas companies. These gas providers include Berkshire Gas, Cape Light Compact, Eversource, Liberty Utilities, National Grid, and Unitil. The programs are available to all customers which have homes that buy natural gas from one of Mass Save's member companies. Customers must notify their Mass Save program administrator technical representative to begin the pre-approval process.

New Braunfels Utilities - Residential Solar Water Heater Rebate Program

New Braunfels Utilities offers a rebate for residential customers who purchase and install solar water heating systems on eligible homes. A rebate of the equivalent of $0.265 per kWh is available to these customers. The maximum rebate amount is $900 for participating customers. Applicants must have an active residential electric service account with NBU in order to be eligible. Solar water heaters must preheat water for an electric water heater that is permanently installed and is the main water heating source. A contractors invoice or receipt must include documentation for all requirements as stated in the program guidelines.

City of San Jose - Private Sector Green Building Policy

In October 2008, the City of San Jose enacted the Private Sector Green Building Policy (Policy No. 6-32). The policy was adopted in Ordinance No. 28622 in June, 2009. All new buildings must meet certain green building requirements in order to receive a building permit. Requirements are dependent on the size and type of the project.

  • Tier 1 Commercial Projects include commercial industrial projects (non-residential) of less than 25,000 square feet, and less than a height of 75 feet. These projects are required to submit a completed GreenPoint Rated Checklist or LEED Checklist in order to receive a building permit

City of Dallas - Residential and Commercial Green Building Requirements

In April 2008, the City of Dallas enacted a Green Building Program (see Ordinance No. 27131), which required all new buildings to meet enhanced energy efficiency standards. The program was implemented through two phases. Phase 1 became effective October 1, 2009, and Phase 2 became effective October 1, 2013 (as amended by Ordinance No. 28813).

Notably, Dallas became the first U.S. city to adopt the 2012 International Green Construction Code (with amendments) for new commercial construction. Dallas now implements the 2015 International Green Construction Code (with amendments, hereafter Dallas Green Construction Code) as mandatory for commercial construction.

City of San Diego - Sustainable Building Expedited Permit Program

In 2002, the City of San Diego passed Resolution R-298001, which amended the Sustainable Building Policy to allow for expedited permitting for sustainable buildings. Sustainable buildings are defined in Policy Number 900-14, and the expedited permitting program is described in Policy Number 600-27. The Sustainable Building Policy is scheduled to be revised every three years.

New residential, commercial, and industrial development projects are all eligible for expedited permitting. The expedited permitting process is estimated to take 50% as much time as the normal permitting process. CPS Energy - New Residential Construction Incentives

CPS Energy, in partnership with Build San Antonio Green (BSAG), offers free support and rebates to builders and contractors for new homes that are at least 15% more energy-efficient than the 2021 IECC standards. You can earn a $1,000 rebate for homes with BSAG certification or $800 without it. To get started, submit a pre-construction application, work with CPS Energy to meet efficiency requirements, and after the project is complete, submit final documentation to receive your rebate. Questar Gas - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

Questar Gas provides rebates for residential customers who make their homes more energy efficient by installing certain energy saving appliances, efficient heating equipment, and certain weatherization measures. Incentives are available for a variety of energy efficiency measures, including water heaters, furnaces, boilers, insulation, and programmable thermostats. 

To qualify for rebates, appliances and equipment must run on gas and must meet the minimum efficiency levels stated on the program web site.
