Delta-Montrose Electric Association - Residential Weatherization Rebate Program

Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) has partnered with Housing Resources of Western Colorado to offer a free home weatherization service to its residential customers. Eligible members will get a free comprehensive energy audit to determine what areas need improvement. Weatherization improvements include insulation, appliance replacements, lighting upgrades, furnace replacements, duct sealing, and others.

Lake Region Electric Cooperative - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) offers rebates for residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of homes. Rebates are available for air-source heat pumps and central air conditioning units, as well as water heating, electric thermal storage, and electric vehicle chargers. The program website contains all necessary rebate forms. The rebate application forms and a copy of the invoice/receipt must be submitted to the utility in order to receive rebates. SMECO - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative's (SMECO) Residential Energy Efficiency Program helps residential customers save energy and money by providing rebates for energy efficient appliances. Eligible measures include lighting, water heating, central heating and cooling, and recycling of select appliances. Some rebates vary by size and type of measure employed. La Plata Electric Association - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) offers a variety of rebates for its residential members to improve the efficiency of their homes. Rebates are available for a variety of Energy Star appliances, the recycling of a refrigerator or freezer, electric water heaters, HVAC equipment, LED light bulbs and more.

Customers have 90 days from date of purchase to apply for the rebate. Rebates will be credited to LPEA customers’ electric bills within the following billing cycle.

Lassen Municipal Utility District - PV Rebate Program

Lassen Municipal Utility District (LMUD) is providing incentives for its customers to purchase solar electric photovoltaic (PV) systems. Rebate levels will decrease annually over the life of the program. Through June 30, 2016, rebates of $2.60 per watt-AC up to $3,000 are available for residential systems. Commercial systems can receive a rebate of $1.81 per watt-AC up to $19,000. Rebates are only available for systems up to 50 kilowatts (kW).

Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Project Financing

The Illinois Finance Authority (IFA) is a state conduit issuer of tax-exempt bonds and credit enhancement for projects in Illinois. IFA funding is available to commercial and non-profit entities as long as those entities meet strict eligibility criteria. In 2012, the legislature also added schools and community colleges to the list of eligible entities for energy conservation funding. Entities seeking funding must demonstrate that their projects provide a significant public benefit for the citizens of Illinois. In 2009, the IFA was authorized by legislation (S.B. 1906 and S.B. 390) to provide funding via issuance of tax-exempt bonds for renewable energy
