TVA - Mid-Sized Renewable Standard Offer Program


The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) now compliments the small generation Green Power Providers Program by providing incentives for mid-sized renewable energy generators between 50kW and 20MW to enter into long term price contracts. The goal for total production from all participants is 100MW, with no more than 50MW from any one renewable technology. The Renewable Standard Offer program also includes Solar Solution Initiative program that offers additional financial incentives for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) projects.

Delaware Electric Cooperative - Green Energy Program Incentives

Solar Grant Delaware Implementation as of April 2024.

Energize Delaware sponsors the Solar Grant Delaware Program to offset the installed cost of the photovoltaic (solar) system for Delaware Electric Cooperative customers. To receive the one-time grant payment, the system owner is required to sign over the ownership of their Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs) generated by the entire system to the Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility, DBA Energize Delaware.

The grant amount is based on the eligible system size and is $0.70/eligible watt installed. The grant amount is capped at $2,000 for residential systems and $10,000 for commercial systems, per service

Fix-Up Loan

The Minnesota Housing Finance Agency's (MHFA) Fix-up Loan provides low-interest financing for energy conservation and other basic improvements to residential properties.  Loans are available for up to $75,000. To be eligible for the loan, the home must be occupied by the property owner.

USDA - High Energy Cost Grant Program

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers an ongoing grant program for the improvement of energy generation, transmission, and distribution facilities in rural communities. This program began in 2000. Eligibility is limited to projects in communities that have average home energy costs at least 275% above the national average. Retail power suppliers serving rural areas are eligible to apply for grant funding, including non-profits (cooperatives and limited dividend or mutual associations), commercial entities, state and local governments entities

Mohave Electric Cooperative - Renewable Energy Incentive Program

Mohave Electric Cooperative provides incentives for its customers to install renewable energy systems on their homes and businesses. Mohave Electric Cooperative will provide rebates for residential and small commercial photovoltaic (PV) and wind systems. Rebates for solar water heating are available only for residential systems. Customers must meet all the applicable terms and conditions and submit the appropriate forms provided at the website listed above.
