Black Hills Energy (Electric) - Residential Energy Efficiency Program

Black Hills Energy (BHE) offers rebates for residential Colorado customers who purchase energy-efficient residential equipment. This program offers rebates for customers who purchase and install energy efficient HVAC equipment, appliances, insulation measures, and water heating equipment. Individual pieces of equipment have specific efficiency requirements which can be seen on the program application form at the web site listed above. Customers should contact BHE or visit the program website for more information on these rebates. Program may not be available in all Colorado service areas.

Coldwater Board of Public Utilities - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) Residential Rebate Program offers cash incentives to Coldwater, Michigan residential electric customers who install new, energy-efficient equipment. Eligible measures include high-efficiency central air conditioners, air-source and mini-split heat pumps, ENERGY STAR® heat pump water heaters, pool pumps, and smart thermostats. Projects must meet specified efficiency criteria (e.g., SEER >16 for A/C and heat pumps) and be completed between January 1 and December 31, 2025. Applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation or by December 31, 2025, whichever comes first. Duquesne Light Company - Residential Solar Water Heating Program

This program is closed for new applicants.


Duquesne Light provided rebates to its residential customers for purchasing and installing qualifying solar water heating systems. Eligible systems may receive a flat rebate of $300 per qualifying system. Various equipment, installation, contractor, and warranty requirements apply, as summarized above and described in more detail in program documents. Mississippi Power - In-home Energy Checkup Program

Mississippi Power offers Energy Checkup Program that provides an inspection of residential home's insulation, appliances, lighting, and heating and air equipment. Along with inspections, the program also provides installation of no-cost energy-saving devices such as LED bulbs, smart power strips, and faucet aerators. Instant discounts for insulation, air sealing, or duct sealing are also available. $75 is provided by Mississippi Power to offset the cost of the assessment. 

Eligible residential customers include homeowners living in a single-family home or multifamily unit of two units or fewer, and the home has to be at least a year old.

Residential Bulk-Fed Wood-Pellet Central Boilers and Furnace Rebate Program

The New Hampshire Department of Energy offers rebates -- funded by the New Hampshire Renewable Energy Fund -- of 40% of the installed cost of qualifying new residential bulk-fed, wood-pellet central heating boilers or furnaces. The maximum rebate amount available is $10,500, which includes a supplemental adder of $100 per ton for systems larger than three tons (at a max of $500). Local Option - Clean Energy Development Boards

In 2010, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), which has authority over mortgage underwriters Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, directed these enterprises against purchasing mortgages of homes with a PACE lien due to its senior status above a mortgage. Most residential PACE activities subsided following this directive; however, some residential PACE programs are now operating with loan loss reserve funds, appropriate disclosures, or other protections meant to address FHFA's concerns. Interconnection Standards

In 2006, West Virginia stakeholders came together to consider net metering, interconnection as required by the Federal Energy Policy Act (2005) and agreed upon a "Statement of Consensus Among Parties," which was presented to and accepted by the West Virginia Public Service Commission (PSC) in December 2006. The consensus agreement did include interconnection guidelines for the state, however, the PSC did not initiate a formal rule-making or incorporate the guidelines into agency rules. CenterPoint Energy (Gas) - Residential Heating and Hot Water Rebates

CenterPoint Energy offers gas heating and water heating equipment rebates to its residential customers. Eligible equipment includes furnaces, back-up furnace systems, hydronic heaters, storage water heaters and tankless water heaters. Rebates are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis until funds are depleted. Rebate program funds are budgeted on an annual basis and is subject to approval by the Arkansas Public Service Commission.
