Note: The eligible technologies listed above are only examples of some improvements that might be supported under this program as detailed on the program web site. Other improvements may be eligible and not all potentially eligible improvements will be appropriate for all participants.

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) joins the Maryland Clean Energy Center (MCEC) in offering low interest loans for projects which increase the energy efficiency of participating residences through Maryland Home Energy Loan Program (MHELP).

Farmers Electric Cooperative (Kalona) - Residential Energy Efficiency Grant Program

Farmers Electric Cooperative (FEC) offers a grant program which splits the cost of simple energy efficient improvements to the home. The utility will cover 50% of the cost of eligible improvements made by the participating member. Grants are limited to $100 per year. A variety of measures and equipment are eligible for this incentive, including, but not limited to clothes lines, insulation, ceiling fans, programmable thermostats, and occupancy sensors. Farmers Electric Cooperative (Kalona) - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Farmers Electric Cooperative (FEC) offers a variety of rebates for the purchase and proper installation of energy efficient equipment for the home. Incentives are available for geothermal heat pumps, air source heat pumps, central air conditioning, lighting, heat pump water heaters, freezers, and refrigerators. Upper Peninsula Power Company - Residential Programs

Upper Peninsula Power Company (UPPCO) offers a variety of incentives and rebates for residential customers. Rebates are available for ENERGY STAR® appliances including freezers, room air conditioners, clothes dryers and other appliances, and an appliance recycling program.

Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority - WISE Energy Efficiency Loan Program

The Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority (OMPA) offers loans for a variety of measures and equipment through its "Ways I Save Electricity" (WISE) Loan Program. This program encourages residential and commercial customers to utilize energy efficient equipment by providing below market-rate loans for equipment and service purchases. Eligible measures and equipment includes air conditioners, air-source heat pumps, dual fuel heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, water heaters, a variety of insulation, lighting, fans, building controls, and general weatherization measures. 

Unsecured loans are range from $5,000 - $35,000 and are available at a discount of 1% below the current market rate. Secured Loans

Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority - WISE Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

The Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority (OMPA) offers residential and commercial customers rebates on a variety of HVAC equipment through its Ways I Save Electricity (WISE) Rebate program. This program encourages customers and builders to upgrade to energy efficient heating and cooling equipment in participating homes and facilities. Rebates are available on air-source heat pumps, dual fuel heat pumps, and geothermal heat pumps for residential and commercial customers; ceiling insulation and water heater rebates are available for residential customers only. OMPA will cover 50% of the cost for eligible upgrades through this program, while local municipalities will cover the remaining 50%

Energy Efficiency Fund (Electric and Gas) - Residential Energy Efficiency Financing

Connecticut homeowners and customers of Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P) and United Illuminating Company (UI) may apply for financing for eligible energy efficiency upgrades through the Home Energy Solutions Program. Eligible homes include single- and two-family homes and condos as well as vacation (second) homes. Capital for Change administers the program. Pacific Power - Home Energy Savings Program For Builders

Pacific Power provides an incentive for home builders in California to build energy efficient houses through the Energy Star New Homes Program. Rebates are available through this program for homes which are built to the specifications of NW BOP Energy Star. Delmarva Power - Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Incentive Program

Delmarva Power and Light Company offers the Home Performance with Energy Star Program, which provides incentives for residential customers who have audits performed by participating contractors. This is a whole-house approach to meeting the MD executive goal to reduce electricity consumption per person. An energy audit of homes will determine the most effective and appropriate energy-saving measures for customers. In addition to energy savings and comfort, custom incentives for energy-efficient equipment and appliances are available for participating homes based on a discounted energy audit. The Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCO) offers the Home Performance with Energy Star Program which provides incentives for residential customers who have audits performed by participating contractors. This is a whole-house approach to meeting the MD executive goal to reduce electricity consumption per person. An energy audit of homes will determine the most effective and appropriate energy saving measures for customers. In addition to energy savings and comfort, incentives are provided for implementing recommended measures such as home insulation and energy efficient windows.
