The Town of Ipswich Electric Light Department offers residential customers enrolled in the Connected Homes program a battery storage rebate of $100/kWh (up to $2,000) for system sizes of 5 kWh to 20 kWh.
The Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company administers a residential battery storage rebate program via NextZero, an efficiency and electrification program for customers of municipal utilities. The battery storage rebate is available for participating municipal light plant customers.

The State of Georgia provides an income tax credit for the purchase of electric vehicle supply equipment by a business enterprise. The equipment must be located in Georgia and accessible to the public. The tax credit is worth 10% of the cost of the equipment, up to $2,500. Beginning January 1, 2025, the tax credit may be carried forward for up to three years.
