Otter Tail Power Company - Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Otter Tail Power Company offers a wide range of residential rebates to help customers reduce energy costs and improve efficiency. The program provides cash incentives for energy-saving upgrades such as efficient heating and cooling systems, smart thermostats, electric vehicle chargers, insulation, and ENERGY STAR® appliances. Rebates are also available for renewable technologies like heat pumps and geothermal systems, as well as weatherization measures such as attic insulation and air sealing. By supporting the adoption of efficient equipment and technologies, Otter Tail Power aims to make energy use cleaner, smarter, and more affordable for homeowners across its service area.

NV Energy (Northern Nevada) - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

NV Energy offers incentives through the PowerShift program for their residential customers in Northern Nevada to increase the efficiency of their homes. These incentives include a free energy assessment and smart thermostat, as well as various discounts on A/C units.

Idaho Power - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

Idaho Power offers a variety of incentives for residential customers in Idaho and Oregon.  Customers may receive a complete home energy audit (including installation of select improvements) for $99 for all-electric homes or $149 for homes with gas, propane, or other fuel sources. 

The Heating and Cooling Program offers incentives for residential customers who purchase and have installed qualifying heat pumps, evaporative coolers, and other equipment that meet program requirements. The equipment must be installed by a participating contractor.  Rebates in this program may vary according to whether the equipment is installed in new or existing homes.

Idaho Power - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs

Idaho Power offers a variety of incentives for energy efficiency measures for residential customers living in Oregon or Idaho. 

The Heating and Cooling Program offers incentives for residential customers who purchase and install qualifying energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment. In order to qualify for the incentive, customers must use a participating contractor for equipment installations and comply with all program requirements. Eligible homes may be a primary residence, vacation home, or rental.

Residential customers may also participate in the A/C Cool Credit program and receive a $5/month bill credit in exchange for allowing Idaho Power to cycle their air conditioners

Miami-Dade County - Green Building Expedited Plan Review

In an effort to promote environmentally sensitive design and construction, the Miami-Dade County Commissioners passed an ordinance in June 2005 to expedite the permitting process for “green” buildings certified by a recognized environmental rating agency. Commercial, industrial, and residential projects are all eligible as long as they are located in unincorporated Miami-Dade County and the City of West Miami. Additionally, solar water heating and solar photovoltaic projects are included in the "fast track" for permitting review.

NorthWestern Energy (Electric) - E+ Home Lighting Fixtures Rebate Program

NorthWestern Energy offers a variety of rebates for residential customers to make energy efficiency improvements in their existing homes. Electric supply customers who purchase or implement energy efficient lighting and controls are eligible for prescriptive rebates from NorthWestern. There are also many rebates available for natural gas space and water-heating. Details for all rebate offerings are found on the program web site listed above. Norwich Public Utilities (Electric) - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) provides residential customers with rebates on the ENERGY STAR-qualified appliances and energy efficient HVAC equipment. Eligible appliance purchases include refrigerators/freezers, washing machines, air conditioners, and heat pump/storage water heaters. The program is limited to one rebate per appliance per residential electric utility account.  Rebates are also available for central AC systems and heat pumps; incentive amounts vary according to equipment size and efficiency level.

Montgomery County - Residential Energy Conservation Property Tax Credit

Note: As originally enacted, this program offered property tax credits for the installation of solar and geothermal energy devices in addition to energy conservation devices. In November 2011 the county enacted legislation (County Bill 28-11) terminating the program for solar and geothermal energy devices unless the taxpayer has entered a contract for costs or submitted an application on or before November 8, 2011. The change in law does not affect the sections of the law that allow property tax credits for various other energy conservation devices.
