City of Shasta Lake Electric Utility - PV Rebate Program

City of Shasta Lake Electric Utility is providing rebates to their customers for the purchase of photovoltaic (PV) systems. The rebate levels will decrease annually over the life of the program. Interested customers should contact Efficiency Services for more information.

Empire Electric Association - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Empire Electric Association and its wholesale power supplier Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association pay incentives to residential members purchase and install qualifying Energy Star® appliances, outdoor electric equipment, or electric vehicle chargers. 

Credit must be requested within 90 days of purchase.

Residential New Construction Program

For individuals building new homes, Efficiency Vermont offers free technical assistance and targeted rebates to help ensure new homes are built as energy efficient as possible. The first step is to enroll in the Residential New Construction program. Upon enrollment, Efficiency Vermont will review building plans and go over designs to determine estimated energy costs for heating, cooling, hot water, lighting, and appliances. Efficiency Vermont will recommend ways to lower those costs and help the homeowner choose proper energy-efficient equipment, lighting, and appliances.

Home Performance with Energy Star (Existing Residential)

Efficiency Vermont works with homeowners on comprehensive energy efficiency projects and offers several incentives. Single-family homes, as well as multifamily properties with up to five units, are eligible. The first step for individual homeowners is to contact Efficiency Vermont or select a certified Home Performance with Energy Star contractor. A list of certified contractors is available on the Efficiency Vermont website. The contractor will conduct and review the energy audit, and will work with you to improve your home's insulation and air sealing.

Delta-Montrose Electric Association - Residential Weatherization Rebate Program

Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) has partnered with Housing Resources of Western Colorado to offer a free home weatherization service to its residential customers. Eligible members will get a free comprehensive energy audit to determine what areas need improvement. Weatherization improvements include insulation, appliance replacements, lighting upgrades, furnace replacements, duct sealing, and others.

Lake Region Electric Cooperative - Residential Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) offers rebates for residential customers to improve the energy efficiency of homes. Rebates are available for air-source heat pumps and central air conditioning units, as well as water heating, electric thermal storage, and electric vehicle chargers. The program website contains all necessary rebate forms. The rebate application forms and a copy of the invoice/receipt must be submitted to the utility in order to receive rebates.
